Me:

I got my Bachelor's in Geology at Caltech in 2018 with a minor in Environmental Science and Engineering. While there, I did research on paleomagnetism with the Kirschvink lab.
Then, I applied those paleomagnetism techniques to extraterrestrial samples as a PhD Candidate (and NSF Fellow!) at Stanford in the Tikoo lab.

My research interests during my PhD were centered around the Moon: how it solidified from an ocean of magma, how superadiabatic heat flow in the mantle drove a magnetic dynamo, and how impacts throughout the Moon's history have interacted with the magnetic field and the crust.

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at Dartmouth College, working in the Mag Lab with Prof. Sarah Slotznick on research projects relating to topics in fundamental mineral magnetism.
Our work combines experimental observations with micromagnetic modeling to comprehensively understand the magnetic properties of certain natural materials.

More about each of my research projects.

I am also teaching Mineralogy at Dartmouth in Winter 2025. I am passionate about teaching and excited to be the primary instructor for what I hope will be the first course of many I get to teach during my career.

More of my teaching experience.
